Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, songwriter, singer and actress. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the singer in the rock group The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen is used in films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has older siblings Sloane Momsen. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In an advertisement for Shake 'n Bake commercial that was released in 1997, she was the first to perform professionally after she was three. Momsen's acting career slowed to abruptly end during a span that lasted three years. Momsen was then offered the part of the principal role in Misconceptions on WB. Momsen was also a part of the time in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). She auditioned as well for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three but the part was awarded instead to Miley Cyrus.
