Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul musician, writer and actress. She has won a Grammy Award as well as the Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win an Academy Award. Andra Day is an imposing artist and a talented songwriter. She isn't merely a throwback R&B specialist her roots in gospel music and blues performed with ease and finesse translate to the modern day. The debut of her album Cheers to the fall (2015) she broke in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts and earned a few Grammy nods. In 2017, her contribution to Marshall's music was recognized with the Academy Award. Amen (2018) and Then Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) and her Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) All of these have contributed to the anticipation for her next album. Andra Day has been born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew as a child in San Diego and the metropolitan city. She sang at churches, and was enrolled into the School of Creative and Performing Arts. After she graduated from the college, she began to gravitate towards contemporary R&B and pop music, but found herself drawn back to the jazz and soul vocalists she heard as a youngster. Kai Millard Morris caught her performance and gave her music to Stevie Wonder. In turn, the Motown legend linked Day to the music industry's veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day, allied to Gurvitz's Buskin label as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, gained an online audience. Her contract eventually went to Warner Bros. The actress also appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi Matichak, a native of the United States is an American actress. She first appeared in television shows such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut with Allyson Nelson on the horror film series Halloween and its sequels. Andi Matichak is an American actress born 03 May 1994. Framingham Massachusetts in the United States.
