Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up within Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has deep roots in America's South. The couple split when she was just two years old. The mother of Olivia raised her along with her stepfather, who is an United States Air Force officer. Her primary residence was Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around often. During this time she was a part of several local theatre productions. Later, she was a model within the Japanese fashion industry. Olivia returned in Los Angeles after the family's return to America. United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actor. She started her acting career in a tiny role. Then, her career began to take off after she was hired as Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-lensed TV show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's receptionist. She hosts "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" podcasts on G4. She is a huge fan of surfing and has been practicing since she saw the TV program Beyond the Break (2006). Also, she has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mother remarried. She was married a US Air Force serviceman. Although the family moved a frequently, her mother took her to Tokyo which she shared with the military. The university she attended was the University of Oklahoma, where she studied journalism, and minored in Japanese and drama arts.
